Madheshawari Temple

Madheshawari Temple, believed to have been built by Nimbalkars rulers during the reign of Shivaji Raje, is situated in Madha in Solapur district. Solapur is located on the south of the state and on the banks of Bhima and Seena river basins. The temple’s deity is Madheshawari or Goddess Jagdamba. An annual fair is held at the temple during the Hindu month of Ashwin, either in September or October. The fair is visited by thousands of devotees.

The nearest railway station is the Madha railway station. One can also take the train to Solapur railway station.
