Balaji Mandir
Most of the people in India are highly spiritual and they try to go to any extend to get a sight of their favorite deity. Lord Balaji or as popularly called as Lord Venkateswara is known as the God of wealth, health and prosperity and people from all over world and different parts of India visit Tirupati the abode of Lord. But many people who live within India are not that fortunate to visit Tirupati. But people who are living in Pune are fortunate to visit the Balaji Mandir located in Ketkawale near Narayanpur, which is the replica of the Tirupati Balaji temple.
Balaji Mandir in Ketkawale is only 45 kilometers away from Pune and is constructed on 10 acres of land surrounded by the Sahyadri hills. The entrance to the temple is artistically done with beautifully craved wood works. The architecture and its construction are similar to that OF Tirupati Balaji temple. One who has already visited would get feel that they are visiting the Balaji mandir in Tirupati. The idol, interior wood works, the sanctorum all resembles the original temple. All the pujas here are done by priests in South Indian style. Even the Prasad ladoos are similar to the Balaji temple in Tirupati.
The Mandir was constructed by VH Group at a cost of 27 crores. It took eight years to complete the construction of the temple which started in 1996. Here, in Balaji Mandir in Ketkawale, the pujas commence at 5.00 AM and the temple is open till 8.00 PM. All the pujas are performed by priests from South India. The temple is well maintained and like the actual temple here also the security is strict with cameras, mobile and other gadgets being prohibited inside the temple.
So as to make the visit comfortable for every devotee the temple authorities has arranged food and accommodation facilities.
Best Time to Visit
Monsoon and winter seasons are ideal to visit the place as summers could get really hot and it is generally crowded during the summer vacation time.

Balaji Mandir Ketkawale is only 45 kms away from Pune. There are many private vehicle services available which can take devotees to temple.
By Air
The nearest airport is the Pune airport.
