How to Reach

By Road

GSRTC buses provide good service to passengers for adjacent states and within the state. Gandhinagar is connected, through NH-8A, to Navi Mumbai, Surat and Mumbai. NH-8C connects Gandhinagar to Ahamdabad.

By Air

The nearest airport Sardar Patel International Airport is at Ahmadabad which provides Domestic and International flights.

By Rail

Railway station exists in Gandhinagar and Recently Developed. Railway station at Kalol in Gandhinagar is well connected by Rail for to and fro journey to North and Eastern India. Metro Rail service is also under progress.

By Local Transport

To move about locally in Sectors, CNG Auto-Rickshaws are available. City bus service is also available.

Best Time to Visit

The months between March and June witness a hot climatic condition. The temperature range during the summer months remains between 36 degree and 42 degree Celsius. In the months between November and February, the temperature remains in between 19 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius. The time period from middle of June to middle of September witnesses a wet and humid weather due to the southwest monsoon. Thus the best time to visit is from October to March.
