Khandala And Lonavala

Both the hill stations are located at a distance of 3 kms from each other. They are situated on the Deccan Plateau and are conveniently located between Bombay and Pune on the expressway. Tiger's Leap
Located in Khandala, it's one of the most interesting highlights of the place. It has been naturally formed in such a way that it looks like a tiger is about to leap into the deep valley.
Amrutanjan Point
It offers a beautiful view of Khandala and the beautiful valley falling deep below. Most tourists flock to this point early in the morning.
Duke's Nose
Named after Duke Wellington, it has a unique shape of a nose that resembled his.
Karla and Bhaja Cave
Historically famous, these caves have existed since ancient times, and are Buddhist in origin, and are home to one of the most life-like and resplendent forms of Buddha.
Korigad Fort
A trekker's delight, the Korigad fort is situated at an elevation of 3050 feet above sea level. It is situated close to Lonavala.
Best Time to Visit
Khandala and Lonavala are extremely scenic during the monsoons and winters. The weather is soothing and relaxing. The ideal time to visit them is between October to May.
