Best Time to Visit

Heli Skiing Resort in Asia

Various slopes of different heights between 8,700 and 10,500 ft are situated near the Gulmarg. This makes Gulmarg the only heli skiing resort in the whole Asia and also the most amazing skiing location in India.

How to Reach Gulmarg

There is no airport or railway station located in Gulmarg, you have to get down on Srinagar first for the Gulmarg and then you can drive to for the hill station.

By Air

The nearby airport is at Srinagar, which is around 57 km from Gulmarg.

By Rail

The nearest railway station is in Jammu.

By Road

The state bus service of Jammu and Kashmir can be taken, which is connected with all the main cities and towns. Numbers of buses are also available for Jammu and Kashmir. Otherwise you can just hire a private cab or taxi for Gulmarg.
