Cochin (Kochi)

A visit to commercial capital of Kerela, Cochin, takes you to an enchanting city that boasts of a beautiful natural harbor that has been frequented by foreign mariners since centuries. This island city that lay nestled between the serene backwaters and the Arabian Sea is home to beautiful buildings that represents architecture styles from different parts of the world. Cochin, that was earlier known as Kochi is divided into two main regions, Fort Cochin and Mattancherry on the west and Ernakulam in the east. Both these sections are connected by a system of ferries.

Periyar National Park
