Three Batches Of Pilgrims Leave For Amarnath Yatra

A group of 347 pilgrims left from the base camp of Jammu and moved towards the amaranth cave shrine which is located in the south of Kashmir surrounded by the tight security here on Tuesday. The source from police states that 33rd group of pilgrims, which included 89 sadhus, two children, and 213 men started from a base camp of Bhagwati Nagar from Jammu at 5am. The procession also included 9 vehicles, they further added. With this batch nearly 49,791 devotees have already left the base camp of Jammu for Amaranth by now.

As per the sources, one more batch of 523 devotees that included 69 sadhus, 44 women and 410 men. All of them left from the Pahalgam base camp for their traditional yatra route. Nearly 340 pilgrims left from the base camp of Baltal and all these head towards the holy shrine. So far 3, 31,792 devotees have already visited this shrine.
