The most famous and biggest of them all, Guwahati leads the list, having around 24 government approved accommodations, followed by Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Kaziranga that have 4 such accommodations each. All these are located in the hearts of the main city so that they are easily accessible for tourists who come here from different parts of the world. The major highlight of these accommodations that are authorised by the government is that their rates are highly affordable.
