Goa is one of the most sought after tourist spots both by foreigners and Indian nationals because of its beautiful beaches, silvery sands, ancient buildings with wonderful architecture, many old temples and churches etc. Goa is also recognized as a biodiversity site because of the exotic collection and flora and fauna that one can find here, nestled within the Western Ghats.
Contrary to most of our expectations, Goa is not just about beaches. The place has a rich cultural background that is yet to be explored fully. If one wants to know the real Goa, then one must venture into the remotest interiors of the city’s buildings. Located far away from the seas, these buildings are standing evidences of the rich heritage that Goa possesses.
