In terms of size, Goa is the smallest in the country, but in terms of contribution to the country’s GDP, it is the highest. In terms of most-populated state, Goa ranks fourth from the bottom. The State Government has undertaken new initiatives with which it is confident that Goa will soon become the first choice for luxurious and high-level parties as well.
Of all the beaches, some of them that have managed to catch the fancy of tourists are Colva Beach, Miramar Beach, Varca Beach, Fort Aguada Beach, The Calangute, Candolim Beach, Baga Beach, Anjuna Beach, Dona Paula Beach, Majorda Beach Vasco Da Gama Beach, Bogmalo Beach and Vagatore Beach.
Goa is also a huge hit among the tourists because of the festive spirit of the place. During the evenings, a ferry ride on the Mondovi River will introduce the tourists to the festive and cultural life of Goa through songs and great sea food.
The Koppen climate nomenclature has classified Goa’s climate as tropical monsoon. Due to its geographical placing in the tropical zone and its proximity to the Arabian Sea, Goa experiences quite a hot and humid temperature all through the year.
