There are twelve tour operators in the state of Arunachal Pradesh who organise various kinds of tours and travel packages within the state, within India and outside India as well. The capital city of Itanagar has 5 tour operators followed by Naharlagun and Tawang with 2 each and Papumpare, Bomdila and Bhalukpong with one each. These tour operators are responsible for organising the end to end to end processing of a tour booking  - like booking the tickets, arranging for accommodation, preparing the itinerary for the trip, covering all the major tourist spots in that area etc. The five operators in Itanagar are Abor Country Travels & Expedition, Boni Tours & Travels, Dayu Tours & Travels, Gibbon Travel and North East Adventure.
