Koradi temple situated on the banks of Lake Koradi is at a distance of 15 km form Nagpur towards the northern end. This temple is also known as Shree Mahalaxmi Jagdamba Mata Mandir that is devoted to Goddess Mahalaxmi. The temple generally sees large number of people especially at the times of Navratri festival that is a nine day long mass. During these nine days each night the temple is lighted with almost 50000 lamps. The idol of deity Jagdamba that is seated in the temple premises has been made of silver throne. This deity is named as the kuldevi of Vidarbha community. The deity appears in 3 types of avatars each day. With the sunrise, the idol of deity appears like an innocent baby, as the noon time approaches, the idol forms a look of a young lady while at the end of day with sunset, idol of the deity looks more like an old lady. The idol in the temple premises is believed to have appeared on its own rather than being erected. The idol holds a Trishul, Sword, Dumroo and Bow and Arrow in her four hands. Deity despite holding so many weapons appears to be calm and serene.
