The temperature of Gujarat involves varied conditions. The winters are gentle pleasing and arid. The standard daytime temperature is approximately 29 °C (84 °F) and nights inhabits 12 °C (54 °F). The summers are tremendously blistering and desiccated with daylight temperatures around 41 °C (106 °F) and at night it falls lower than 29 °C (84 °F). Summer

Summer season in Gujarat is from March to May. The summers in the state are extremely hot and dry, with day temperatures rising up to around 41°C and night temperatures up to 29°C. Once the monsoons arrive in mid-June, the daytime temperature drops to 35°C and night temperature falls to around 27°C though the humidity remains very high.

Rainfall

Rainfall basically occurs in the southern regions of Saurashtra and Gulf of Cambay. The parched regions around the Rann of Kutch features sensitive shortage of water.

Monsoon

Monsoon is an indeed attribute feature of the Gujarat climate because the other parts of the western India is devoid of rainfall.   • Saurashtra Peninsula is a mountainous tract with small mountains of 300-600 meter. It is surrounded by the coastal plains.

Therefore, it is obvious that the Gujarat climate has its own separate characteristics and is exclusive in its own way
