Gujarat state is located in the western part of India. In year of 1960 the state was initially developed and consists of 17 northern districts of the former Bombay state such as Amreli, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Jamnagar, Dang, Kheda, Junagadh, Mehsana, Kachchh, Rajkot, Panchmahal, Surat, Sabarkantha, Vadodara and Surendranagar. The in year of 1964 Gandhinagar was developed from the parts of Mehsana and Ahmedabad. Afterwards in year of 1966 Surat was split from Valsad region. Later on in 2007 Tapi region was also split from Surat. Now in year of 2013 seven new districts are created from various parts of Gujarat state. These districts are such as Aravali, Botad, Chhota Udaipur, Mahisagar, Dwarka, Morbi and Somnath Gir.
