K.D. Paliwal Park or Krishna Dutta Paliwal Park lies in the heart of Agra city, Uttar Pradesh. It is sprawled in about 70 acres of land. The park features a huge variety of trees and a lake. A road runs across the center of the park.

History

The Park was called Hewitt Park during the British rule. Today, it is named in the memory of the first Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Krishna Dutta Paliwal. This was when the Chief Minister of the state was Shri Govind Ballabh Pant.

Agra is easily accessible by road, rail, and air. The city is about 204 km from Delhi. Kheria airport is just 6 km from the center of the city. Delhi airport is also convenient for tourists coming from far.
