One can visit the serene hill station at the base of Mount Abu or go about visiting the historic forts at Udaipur and Ajmer or just laze away at the deserts. Udaipur, Jaipur, Ajmer and Mount Abu are the major attractions of Rajasthan.

The buildings of Rajasthan speak volumes of the rich taste and culture of the state. The palaces with latticed windows and marble work, temples that are built of stone carvings and the magnificent forts are perfect examples of the expertise that the artisans of the state possessed.

Rajasthan is also known for its folk culture, festivals and fairs that attract lots of tourists every year. The various street stalls, music events, theatre shows, bazaars, sports events are great opportunities to learn about the culture and the history of the state. The handicraft items made from clay, stone, leather, wood, glass, ivory, brass and gold are a huge hit among the domestic and foreign tourists.
