Jal Mahal

Jal Mahal as the name suggests is just located in the heart of Man Sagar Lake in the Jaipur City. It was renovated in the 18th centre where the palace and the lake around it were enhanced by Jai Singh II of Amber.

The makeover was just amazing. Rajput style wooden boats have been made by the traditional boat makers from Vrindavan. The hallway well decorated and chambers catch the sight of anyone. Then one forays into the Chameli Bagh on the first floor. The Aravalli hills can be seen from the lake and the forts and divine temple and the hustle-bustle Jaipur on the other side. A water treatment has been set up to keep the lake clean and green and increase local vegetation.

History
