Pathankot is 115 kms away from Palampur, the nearest railway station and is a broad railhead. It is also connected with a narrow gauge railhead which is Jogindernagar which is 5 kms away from Palampur. Palampur has a good connection of roads and is supported by Himachal Road Transport Corporation as it provides bus services to the major cities of the place. The distance from Delhi to Palampur is 545 kms at a stretch of over 10 hours drive.

For the transportation in and across the city, various buses and private taxi services are available. Apart from this, one can walk through the lavish green tea estates in the city.
