History of Janpath

Janpath, which refers to People's path in Hindi, was an original part of New Delhi's design developed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and was originally called the "Queen's Way". It connects Lodhi Gardens with Connaught Place.

Also known as Tibetan Market, the touristy strip of Janpath sells the usual trinkets at the most astonishing prices.
