The Fun ‘n’ Food Village is a fun amusement park located in Delhi and NCR. It comprises an amusement park along with a water park and is one of the best hanging spot for the Delhites. Located on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road, this is one of the premier picnic spots in the city and is the perfect place to have some crazy fun both with family and friends.

The ‘Lazy River’ ride of this park is the longest water channel in Delhi. There are many more rides in this park and there is also special water park dedicated to the kids. There are as many 21 amusement rides and many more water slides. Inaugurated in the year 1993, the Fun ‘n’ Food Village is one of the happening places here.

The amusement park is open 364 days a year and the only day it remains closed is the Diwali. The water park remains closed during the winter. It remains open on Sundays and on public holidays as well.

Rules and Regulations

• Children below the height of 33 inches do not require any entry tickets.
• Height about 33 inches and upto 4 feet 6 inches comes under the child bracket and have to pay Rs 300/- at the entrance.
• Height above 4 feet 6 inches are adult and require an entry ticket worth Rs 500/-.
• Senior citizens above age the 65 years enjoy complimentary entry at the entrance. Age proof required for availing this special privilege.
• Children below the age of 10 years need to be accompanied by an adult.
• Tickets once bought are non refundable and non transferable.
• The water park remains closed during the winter and hence, if you only motive is to enjoy the water slides and dance under the rain, avoid visiting during the winters.
• The management has all the authority to deny admission to a person. It can also ask a person to leave the park without refunding the ticket price and without showing any cause.
• Bringing in food and beverages from the outside is strictly not allowed inside the park.
• Drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco or drugs is strictly prohibited inside the park.
• The Management has the right to not allow admission to people who are drunk or doped.
• The rides would stop in the following cases:
• Rain
• heavy fog
• Earthquake
• Any natural calamities or any other reason that concerns the safety of the people.
• Tickets would not be refunded incase of such circumstances.
• Persons suffering having any kind of heart ailments, or suffering any nervous disorder, blood pressure or any other injuries and pregnant women are requested not to take the rides.
• Overeating is strictly not recommended before taking the rides. Eat less for more enjoyment
• Guests are not allowed to take water rides if they come in one of the following attires viz.
• sarees
• lungis
• any other loose clothing
• There are special packages available for schools and colleges and also for the corporate houses. Prior booking is necessary.
• Ticket rates and Park Timings are subject to change without any prior notice as per the discretion of Management.

Facilities in the Amusement Park

• The Fun ‘n’ Food Village is an amusement park and is open for all ages. It includes a water park and park with joyrides.
• Apart from enjoying the rides, people can also see the creation of artisans and craftsman who are at work there.
• The wave pool is the largest one in Delhi.
• There are 22 water rides, 21 joyrides, rain dance and a water play area exclusively for the kids.
• The “Lazy River” is the longest water slide ride in Delhi and is a major attraction here.
• There are various eateries in the park and special food arrangements are also made for the groups.
• It also has the largest Snow Park that covers an area of 2500 sq. meter.

Nearby Attraction

The Stellar Children Museum is a nearby attraction that you can visit. It is a place that the children would surely love and also get to learn a lot many things. Covering about 10,000 sq. feet, there are seven galleries for the kids here. They can learn many new things through science and experiments, arts and crafts and many more such things.
