Boating /Water Sports

Located at the north east edge of Delhi, known as the Bhalswa Lake is the leisure and multi sports complex formed by Delhi Tourism. The sports complex also provide pedal boats, the canoes, speed boats or Kayaks for boating. One can also enjoy fishing at the complex.

It was at this lake, in Delhi that Hovercraft and water scooters were launched for the first time. In the meantime, at areas such as Purana Quila, India Gate, Naini Lake and Hari Nagar in Delhi, pedal boat facility is offered at sensible tariff. At the same time, training for special programmes such as canoeing and Kayaking were also prearranged at all the lakes.

Shikara/ Motor Boat – The cost for the ride is Rs 200

Camping

Delhi tourism offers fun filled camping packages at the Garden of Five Senses as well as at Azad Hind Gram, in Delhi. Campfire facility is also provided at these camps.

One can enjoy the outdoors at Delhi by setting up tent and rolling out bedrolls to sleep under the skies. One can also enjoy by eating and dancing by the fire at the camp.

Scaling Heights

One can opt for rock climbing, as an adventurous activity for all through the year. One would also need resilience and fortitude to take part in rock climbing, organised at the Garden of Five Senses by tourism of Delhi. Delhi Tourism also offer gear and infrastructure for carrying out courses for rock climbing that last a day for the period of September to April.

Parasailing

For the people, who love an adrenalin rush, they can go for Parasailing some sixty kilo metres from Delhi at the Kanwar Shika, close to Sohna in Haryana. Professional instructors are also available here.

Trekking

Delhi tourism provides varied trekking routes within India, inclusive of the world’s highest mountains, greatest deserts, lakes, sea beaches, rain forests and rivers. One can also get help from trained outdoor staff for these treks.
