In worst cases, the temperature may even go up to 440C and such conditions continue till June. After June, there is a fall in temperature with monsoon season making its way. An average rainfall of 700 mm to 1200 mm is experienced here. After the monsoon season, you have winters that usually start in last December and continue till mid March. In January, maximum temperature is 230C while minimum can be up to 3.60C. Winds from the northwest can definitely make the climate dry thus giving a signal of the summer season.


During the summer season, Chandigarh experiences a warm climate which is really terrible to bear. Coming for a visit during summers is a bad idea as the climate will definitely take away your energy. Maximum temperature during summers is 450C which starts from the march and ends in June. Till this time, the climate is really bad and scorching heat can leave you puzzled. On an average, the temperature during summers varies between 350C to 420C.


Monsoons in Chandigarh usually begin in July and continue till October. An average rainfall experienced here is somewhere about 1110.7 mm that gives a relaxed feeling to the people.
